Sometimes, you can’t see the forest for the trees.
Step back and I will offer something for your consideration. If one was wanting to overthrow the Constitution and bring in a Marxist form of government, you just couldn’t put it on the ballot as it would be defeated.
Cattle don’t normally walk off a cliff, but you can stampede them off a cliff.
If you scare people, you can get them to do things they would not normally do. If you want to get people to want to change forms of government, you have to get them to stop liking the current one. You would need to divide aspects of our way of life into many components and work on getting people to dislike each one. Then, in the end, it is an easy thing to get people to change forms of government if they dislike almost everything about it.
Education – dumb down education and then claim that you need a new national government-controlled educational standard written by those who are advocating the overthrow. (
Healthcare – get rid of competition in health insurance through the government or big business control, driving up the cost of insurance dramatically and then convince people that what they do not like is healthcare itself, not the lack of competition in buying insurance and that the answer is total government control of healthcare.
Energy – convince people that the by-products of using fossil fuels (which make up 80% of our energy needs) are going to destroy the planet in a few years if you don’t give the government total control. Since in a few years when everyone notices the planet is not dying, you need a plan to make people want to keep the government in control. Bring in Carbon Credits. Everyone gets a made-up item called carbon credits. If you produce less than the allowed amount of carbon, you will have credits to sell. If you produce too much carbon you have to buy carbon credits. Big companies will have to buy carbon credits from people who do not produce much meaning the poorer in the country. They will not want this wealth transfer to stop and will vote to keep it going even if the planet is not in danger. We only need a “climate crisis” long enough to get the scheme rolling. Then it will perpetuate itself. The credits will be sold through carbon exchanges which will make huge profits that help fund and keep the elites in power.
Elections – make sure only to elect the correct people who believe in your scheme. The results justify the means. Do what it takes to win elections. Don’t let a few thousand ballots keep the elites from winning. Pass laws making it easier to commit fraud. If people complain, just say they must not want fair elections.
Immigration – open borders will help create chaos, resentment, and division. It will be a great source of new voters to keep elites in power. Like the slave ships that brought slaves and kept the Democrat plantation owners in power, the illegal alien caravans are bringing low-wage workers to work in big businesses for low wages. Passing a $15 minimum wage will help create an underground market for these immigrants until they are given citizenship and vote. Then they can get more subsidies for their vote to keep Marxist elites in power.
Cancel Free Speech/Opposition – To succeed, they need to create fear of their opposition to then silence their opposition. Alway define opponents as evil. Do not give an inch. Make the people believe your opponents are the worst people ever. Blame every crisis on your opponents. If no crisis exists, create one and act if it is real.
Control the Press – make sure the press is heavily rewarded for taking your side. Money speaks. Use foreign government adversaries to fund the media. Any media that does not go along must be condemned.
Get rid of God and hope – To complete the takeover Marxists always work to get rid of God and make the government a god. Moral Relativity is pushed as the new normal. Make religious dogma evil.
Disarm the public – A public that has no weapons is no threat to a Marxist regime. Blame weapons for crimes and not the criminals.
Set the criminals free – create more fear in the people for their safety so they will want to give up more freedom for security.
If you can get the majority to dislike all these areas of their life in this country, then offer your solution to make it all better. Call it something other than Marxism…
Once you have all of this in place, then mount a campaign that looks a lot like the one we just went through. “Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely.”
